Women's Program Center / Al Husun Camp

The Women's Program Center was established in Al-Hosun camp in 1992 AD by the International Relief Agency (UNRWA) as part of the Relief and Social Services Program. It is one of the women's programs provided by the UNRWA for Palestinian Relief and Employment.

The main objective of the existence of the Women's Program Center is to strengthen and empower women and enhance their self-awareness and self-reliance in order to improve their status in their local community and increase their participation in decision-making.

In order to achieve these goals, the center offers many services for women and children, such as training courses such as beautification, sewing, computers, and other training courses on the cultural level. For Legal Aid, the We Are All Jordan Youth Authority, the King Abdullah Fund and other institutions. With regard to the child, there is a kindergarten service in the center and an entertainment and awareness program at the same time, the physical energy program, where women are trained for a simple monthly subscription in order to improve the women’s psyche.

In terms of economic empowerment, the center provides a service of benevolent loans in small amounts and in easy monthly installments, where the treatment takes place from A to Z within the center.
