Women's Community Center / Sokhna
The center was established by the local community of the Sukhna woman in 1995 under the umbrella of the International Relief Agency (UNRWA) with the aim of supporting Palestinian refugee women. Then the circle expanded to include women, youth, adolescents, and the elderly in the local community. Due to the urgent need for the services of the center, the service became provided to each family individually.

Empowering the family economically, raising its cultural, social and health awareness, and encouraging initiatives and field visits in light of a cooperative society dominated by social justice.

Enabling refugees and residents of the Sokhna region to establish and implement sustainable social services in their families and communities, and to launch youth initiatives
The center is managed by a local voluntary committee. The center used to depend on the continuation of its services on simple support from the UNRWA annually. Currently, the center relies on the returns and revenues of its symbolic activities and symbolic donations from local community institutions. The center serves all groups of the local community, including women, children, adolescents, youth and the elderly. Allocating a piece of land from the Ministry of Municipalities for the center, and in September 2018, the center received a sublime building grant from the Royal Court, which was dedicated to the plots of land allocated to it.
In 2021, the center was equipped by the Royal Court with all equipment and devices, and the new building of the center was opened in May 2022 by the Royal Court.
